  1. g suit   A suit worn by pilots to counter the physiological
  2.     effects of high g  forces.
  3. GBU   Guided Bomb Unit -- "smart" bomb.
  4. general strike package    A selection of planes designated
  5.     to attack a target.
  6. glareshield   The screen onto which a head-up display is
  7.     projected.
  8. glide path   The path of descent to landing.
  9. green shirt   An aircraft carrier deckhand whose duties
  10.     involve readying aircraft for launch, securing them to
  11.     the catapult. 
  12. gun cross    A cross on a head-up display that is used for
  13.     aiming M61A1 cannon rounds.

  15. HARM   High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile, used to 
  16.     destroy radar installations.
  17. heading   The direction in which the nose of the airplane
  18.     points during  flight.  It is the course corrected for wind.
  19. heat signature   An infrared "portrait" of an aircraft or
  20.     other object which determines its vulnerability to
  21.     heat-seeking missiles.
